The under-19s will now face AS Roma counterparts after beating HJK of Finland
Cork City's under-19s have set up a second round clash against their AS Roma counterparts in the UEFA Youth League.
Aaron Drinan's penalty on 47 minutes gave Cork a 1-0 victory over Finland's HJK Helsinki at a Turner's Cross that saw 1,287 in attendance to earn a 1-0 aggregate win over two legs.
That means they now progress from the Champions Route first round and face Italian giants Roma's youth team in the second round.
The first leg against Roma will be on November 2nd, with the return on the 23rd.
