She will take on women's bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes
UFC president Dana White has confirmed that Ronda Rousey will make her return to the Octagon against women's bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes.
Rousey's last fight was November 15th 2015 at UFC193 when she suffered her first ever defeat in a bout against Holly Holm.
White confirmed the Rousey vs Nunes fight for UFC207 on The Herd” with Colin Cowherd.
"The thing that everybody has been waiting for for a good year, Ronda Rousey is back. She will fight December 30 for the title," he said.
Brazilian Nunes defeated Miesha Tate at UFC200 in July to claim the UFC Women's Bantamweight title.
Up until her defeat at UFC193, Rousey had won 12 fights from 12, often within one round.
