Sport just comes easier to certain people.

AP McCoy is continuing to enjoy the retired life. The former jockey, who rode over 4,000 winners is competing in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship this week in Scotland.

The tournament is one of the most popular on the European Tour, with amateur golfers joining the professionals in a team competition. McCoy is playing with Graeme McDowell.

Every participant plays at Kingsbarns, Carnoustie and St. Andrews in the first three days before the top teams compete in the final round at St. Andrews.

McCoy was playing his opening round at Carnoustie and had a shot that any professional would have been proud of. His approach shot on the par-4 fifth hole, saw the  Moneyglass jockey tap in for a birdie.

The McDowell/McCoy duo finished their opening round on -6. McDowell lies on +2 after a disappointing first round.
