Santi Cazorla says he will sign a new contract if Arsenal offer him one.

The 31-year-old midfielder is a key part of the current squad.

Since 2014, he has adapted to a deep-lying playmaker role and also takes many of their free-kicks and penalties.

This season, he has two goals and two assists to his name in the Premier League.

And his overall performances at the heart of midfield have also been impressive.

And he is eager to renew his current deal at Arsenal which runs out in June 2017.

"I am happy here. I am trusted by the manager and my team-mates," he told Cadena SER.

"I am feeling important here, and if they'll offer me a new contract, I'll sign it because I am very happy with this great club."
