Rassie Erasmus is keen to add to his side to challenge on all fronts this year
Munster are aiming to bolster their side and challenge on all fronts this season and have identified Connacht duo Bundee Aki and Ultan Dillane as their principle targets.
Dillane starred for Connacht last season during their breakthrough season which saw them capture a maiden Pro12 title. His performances resulted in him earning five Ireland caps. He was included in Ireland's tour of South Africa which saw them pick up a valuable win in the first test, but lost out on the series 2-1.
Bundee Aki, who is out of contract at the end of this season, is another target for Erasmus.
Aki has courted interest from clubs in the Top14 in France and in the Aviva Premiership. The rumours come off the back of a winless start for the Irish province.
The reigning Pro12 champions are set to be without Nathan White who announced his retirement and have already lost big names over the summer, most notably Robbie Henshaw's move to Leinster.
Connacht take on Edinburgh tomorrow night and will be pushing to get off the mark this season, will the added incentive that Edinburgh are without head coach Alan Solomons, who stepped down yesterday.
