Four teams joined the New England Patriots on 3-0 at the end of the third Sunday of the NFL season.
Denver, Philadelphia, Minnesota and Baltimore were all victorious on Sunday and while some of those wins may have been expected, others came as a big surprise.
The SuperBowl champion Denver Broncos played their first away game of the season in Cincinnati and won 29-17. Rookie quarterback Trevor Siemian continued the excellent start to his career with as he threw four touchdowns in the win.
Minnesota emboldened their reputation as one of the best defences in the NFL with a surprising 22-10 win away to the Carolina Panthers. MVP Cam Newton was sacked eight times by the Vikings' defence and threw two interceptions in the 12-point defeat.
Baltimore Ravens continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 19-17 win away in Jacksonville. Having blocked a field goal with three minutes left, the Ravens won with a kick with just over a minute left of the clock in Florida.
The biggest shock of the day came in Philadelphia, with the Eagles defeating the previously unbeaten Pittsburgh Steelers 34-3. Carson Wentz threw for threw two touchdowns as the Eagles continued their winning streak.
Among Sunday's other matches, Cleveland missed a field goal with the last kick of the game to beat Miami, before losing 30-24 in overtime, while Dallas defeated Chicago 31-17.
