Charles Piutau returns for Ulster as co-captain Rob Herring set for 100th cap

Les Kiss makes eight changes for fixture with Scarlets

Ulster welcome back All Black Charles Piutau to their starting XV after a thumb injury, as Les Kiss opts to make eight changes for their Pro12 clash with Scarlets.

Co-captain Rob Herring will make his 100th appearance for Ulster tomorrow night at Kingspan Stadium and he's joined in the match-day panel by returning Ireland trio Craig Gilroy, Iain Henderson and Paddy Jackson.

Callum Black, Pete Browne, Alan O'Connor and Robbie Diack all come into the pack, while while Gilroy, Jackson, Piutau and Stuart McCloskey will join the backline.

Herring will be joined in the front row by Black and Rodney Ah You.

Browne and O'Connor form the second row partnership, with Clive Ross and Sean Reidy retaining their places on the side of the scrum and Diack at number 8.

Jackson will play alongside Ruan Pienaar at half-back, while McCloskey and Stuart Olding are named in midfield.

Louis Ludik switches from fullback to left wing, with Gilroy and Piutau completing the lineup.

Andy Warwick is named among the replacements alongside Henderson. John Andrew, academy prop Ross Kane and Franco van der Merwe are listed as the other forward replacements.

Angus Lloyd who was an unused replacement last week against Treviso, also makes the bench. Luke Marshall and Rob Lyttle are the other backline players in the 23.
