Ireland's Ellen Keane wins bronze in the Women's 100m Breaststroke

Her display caps a fine day of medal action for Ireland's athletes

Ellen Keane has won a bronze medal in the SB8 Women's 100m Breaststroke at the Rio Paralympics.

The Irish swimmer finished in a time of 1:23.07.

That meant she was just 3.63 behind gold medal winner Katarina Roxan of Canada.

Silver went to Claire Cashmore of Great Britain.

Keane's medal-winning performance caps a fine day for Ireland after two golds and a silver were claimed in cycling.
