Kevin Harlan gave the instantly iconic commentary in the 49ers win over the Rams
The final game of the NFL's opening weekend was was one-sided affair.
In their return to the west coast, the LA Rams lost 28-0 away to the San Francisco 49ers. Such was the one-sidedness of the game, a streaker on the field in the final quarter created one of the highlights of the game.
Radio commentator Kevin Harlan commentated on the streakers run, as if it were a game-winning touchdown.
"Hey! Somebody's run out on the field. Some goofball in a hat. And a red shirt. And he takes off the shirt. He's running down the middle by the 50! He's at the 30! He's bare-chested and banging his chest and now runs the opposite way."
"He runs at the 50. He runs at the 40. The guy is drunk, but there he goes! The 20! They're chasing him. They're not going to get him. Waving his arms, bare-chested. Somebody grab that man.... Oh and they tackle him at the 40-yard line!"
"That was the most exciting thing to happen tonight"
Thankfully Harlan's commentary has been dubbed over television footage of the game to see it in all its glory.
It's certainly an early contender for the commentary of the season.
