The Italian striker scored twice in a 3-2 win
Mario Balotelli has quickly settled into life in Ligue 1.
After leaving Liverpool, to join Nice on a free transfer, the striker made his debut to much fanfare on Sunday night. The 26-year-old scored twice on his debut in a 3-2 win against Marseille.
Balotelli's brace came after he described moving to Liverpool as the "worst decision" of his career.
He told Canal Plus that; "apart from the fans, who were fantastic, and some players who I got on really well with, I didn't like the club."
The striker spoke to the same channel after the game, but in different circumstances. A Canal Plus reporter tried to interview Balotelli in the Nice dressing room after the win, in a scene that's unusual to Irish and British television screens.
Unsurprisingly the Italian did not seem overly enamoured by the idea of speaking while only being covered by a towel. With the Premier League television deals getting more and more intrusive, it may not take long before we see similar in the Premier League.
