Colombia's Nairo Quintana has won the La Vuelta a Espana.

The Movistar Team rider beat Britain's Chris Froome to take victory in one of cycling's grand tours..

Three-time Tour de France winner Froome ended up over a minute away from the winner in the general classification, after Sunday's run in Madrid.

The final stage, a largely noncompetitive procession to the finish line, was won by Denmark's Magnus Cort Nielsen.

Quintana has previously won the Giro d'Italia in 2014.
