He left Stamford Bridge for PSG in 2014 for £50 million
Reports are emerging that Chelsea are trying to re-sign David Luiz just two years after selling him to Paris Saint Germain for £50 million.
It is understood that the London club have offered to pay over £30 million to bring the defender back to the Premier League.
The Brazil international won the Champions League with Chelsea in 2012, a year after moving from Benfica.
However, although he impressed at times and became somewhat of a cult hero figure at Stamford Bridge, he built a reputation for erratic defending.
He was eventually sold to PSG in the summer of 2014 by then manager Jose Mourinho.
