"Some fellas would be quick enough to say something back, some other fellas wouldn't"
Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice isn't too concerned with the sledging factor as his side prepare for an All-Ireland semi-final against Dublin on Sunday.
Some players might try to put their opponents off with a few verbals with a place in an All-Ireland final against Mayo at stake.
But Fitzmaurice expects that to be like water off a duck's back for most of them.
"I think that's an individual thing. I think the lads are experienced at this stage. Some fellas would be quick enough to say something back, some other fellas wouldn't. So whatever's your own strengths... for myself it was always the best thing to steer clear of it, so for a lot of the lads it's probably the same. Some of them then, some of the townies may be a bit quicker with their wit. You can leave them at it and they're well able to stick up for themselves," he said.
