Ireland striker's final international game will be on August 31st
David Beckham has paid tribute to Robbie Keane as the Ireland striker's final international match approaches.
Keane will retire from Ireland duty after the August 31st friendly against Oman at the Aviva Stadium.
His former Los Angeles Galaxy team-mate, Beckham, shared warm words about the Dubliner on his Instagram account, emphasising his "Passion and love for the game".
145 caps , 67 goals .. Passion and love for the game especially when playing for his country .. Doesn't matter where he plays he scores goals.. Sad to see Keano retiring from Ireland but this last game wed should be a huge celebration.. Congrats mate @robbiekeane 🍀🍀🍀 @lagalaxy
