Max Whitlock seals two gold medals in an hour for Team Great Britain

The 23-year-old made history with his first gold in the floor gymnastics

Max Whitlock has won two gold medals in an hour in Rio as he sealed first place in the floor gymnastics and the pommel horse shortly after.

The 23-year-old made history by becoming the first British man to win a gold medal in the floor gymnastics.

And shortly afterwards, he also took the top medal in the pommel horse final - days after he ended Great Britain's 108-year dry spell in the men's all-round gymnastics by picking up a bronze medal.

Productive Whitlock helped Team GB soar to second place in the medal table, with Justin Rose picking up a historic gold medal in the golf after a nail-biting round.
