Real Madrid have won the UEFA Super Cup.

The Champions League winners beat Europa League victors Sevilla 3-2 after extra time in Trondheim in Norway.

Marco Asensio had put Real Madrid in front with a stunning strike from 25 yards.

But a Franco Vazquez goal before half-time and a Yehven Konoplyanka penalty after the break swung the game in Sevilla's favour.

But Sergio Ramos headed a Madrid equaliser deep into stoppage time.

With the game headed into extra-time, Sevilla suffered a blow with a second yellow card for Timothee Kolodziejczak.

And with only a minute of extra-time to go, Dani Carvajal embarked on a dribble before firing home to give Real the trophy.
