Celtic have salvaged a draw in their Champions League third qualifying round tie against FC Astana.

A second-half equaliser from Leigh Griffiths meant they finished 1-1 in their first leg away to FC Astana in Kazakhstan.

That means they have an advantage of an away draw in the bag for the home leg at Celtic Park on August 3rd.

Celtic had gone behind after 19 minutes when Yuri Logvinenko headed in.

But as the Hoops appeared set for another defeat away from home in a Champions League first leg this season, Griffiths received the ball and blasted an equaliser home.
