It hasn't taken long for the first hole-in-one of The 145th Open.

The 2010 Champion who was runner-up last year at St. Andrews was having a disappointing opening round in the calm conditions at Royal Troon before the reached the 14th hole.

+2 through 13, Oosthuizen was close to ruling himself out of contention for a second Claret Jug before he hit the shot of the tournament so far.

Oosthuizen has has impressive year with hole-in-ones during majors. In the final round of the Masters in April, he shot an ace on the 16th, that ricocheted off another ball to go in the hole.
