French Open tennis champion Garbine Muguruza has suffered a shock second round exit at Wimbledon.

The World No 2 lost to Slovakian qualifier Jana Cepelova in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2.

Cepelova says she deserved the win.

"I am so happy for this match. I played really well and I didn't expect it, these two sets, and I'm so happy," she said.

Muguruza reached last year's Wimbledon final but lost to Serena Williams 6-4, 6-4.

But she got her revenge in this year's French Open final against Williams, winning in straight sets in May.
