Craig Fulton's side take part in a Six Nations tournament at the end of the month as well as two matches against the Netherlands
Craig Fulton has named his 21-man squad for the Irish hockey team's upcoming Six Nations tournament on 27 June.
The tournament, which features four of the world's top ten teams, will act as preparation for this summer's Olympic Games in Rio.
Running until 3 July, Ireland's men will come up against Argentina, Spain, India, New Zealand and world number three Germany.
The team will also be used for Ireland's two test series against the Netherlands on 4 and 6 July and will subsequently cut to 16 for the Olympic Games.
An 18 man team will travel to the Rio Olympics; rules state that 16 will comprise the primary playing panel with two further players in reserve.
"Selection is always hard and has been no different in this last phase," Fulton told Hockey Ireland.
"I am looking forward to the next 7 games, all against teams ranked higher than ourselves and who will all be in Rio."
