Jamie Vardy will likely hold off on making a decision on his future until after this summer's European Championships.

The Leicester City striker was expected to make an announcement yesterday whether or not he would be moving to Arsenal this summer but no statement was released.

Roy Hodgson's men touched down in France yesterday ahead of this summer's beginning Friday June 10 and The Guardian report that the striker isn't set to disrupt Hodgson's preparation for the tournament.

Arsenal triggered the 29-year-old's £20m release clause last week and had hoped to complete a deal for Vardy before England's first match of the tournament against Russia on June 11.

Vardy signed an improved three-and-a -half year contract extension with Leicester in February and Arsenal will look to Álvaro Morata should the deal not come to fruition. Morata, however, is expected to move to Chelsea in a deal reported to be worth £40m.
