Sevilla manager Unai Emery is being lined up by Paris Saint-Germain to replace current manager Laurent Blanc.

Emery led Sevilla to their third successive Europa League last month, after a 3-1 win against Liverpool is Basel. His contract runs out next summer.

Despite Emery's contract situation, he is expected to leave the Spanish side this summer. Everton looked like favourites to get the 44-year-old's signature, but reports in France claim that he is at the top of the list to replace Blanc in Paris.

Laurent Blanc signed a two-year extension with the French champions earlier this year. Despite the new contract his future remains uncertain due to the team's European form.

PSG have failed to get past the quarter-finals of the Champions League under Blanc. Success in Europe is the main priority under the teams' Qatar owners.

The team have won the Ligue 1 title for the past four years. Along with success in the league, the team have won the previous two French Cups and League Cups.

If Emery moves to the French champions, he will become the only Spanish manager in the Division. Currently, domestic managers are in charge of 16 of the 20 teams.
