Are we over-rating the Belgium team that will take on Ireland?

On paper, the toughest team Ireland will face at Euro 2016 will be Belgium.

But as Wales proved, the talented Belgian side is far from invincible and only a Romelu Lukaku saved them from an embarrassing defeat against Finland in their most recent friendly.

But they remain favourites in Ireland's group, with Sweden and Italy providing the other opposition.

"We expect to win the group but it will not be that easy because yesterday they were suddenly struggling [against Finland],"

"We haven't played brilliant football since the World Cup - we haven't done it at the World Cup either - although we have lots of talent, we always seem to struggle a bit. We will have to see what will happen with Belgium. This new generation has to deliver and I think the time is now. Some people are really confident that we're going to win the Euros, that we will go through to the finals, semi-finals but I still have to see it. I'm not of the most confident, also because there have been some warning signs."
