LeBron James has guided the Cleveland Cavaliers to their third NBA Finals in the past ten years.

Since James has returned to his local team after a four-season spell in Miami, he has led the Cavaliers to back-to-back Finals appearances.

The 31-year-old scored 33-points in the game and was ably assisted by team mate Kyrie Iriving who scored 30. Despite ending up on the losing side, Kyle Lowry was the game's top scorer with 35-points.

After the win, a game which ensure James' sixth consecutive appearance in the NBA Finals, he told ESPN that he belives the team can still improve in the Finals.

"It is very emotional to be a part of something like this. This is my sixth straight. It means everything", James revealed after the win.

The Cavaliers could meet the Golden State Warriors in a repeat of last year's Finals next month. The Warriors currently trail the Oklahoma City Thunder 3-2 in the best-of-seven series, with Game 6 scheduled to take place on Saturday night in America.
