They still face an FA Cup final against Crystal Palace
Manchester United have finished fifth in the Premier League after outclassing Bournemouth in the final game of the season.
United eased their way to a 3-1 win in their rescheduled tie at Old Trafford after Sunday's match between the two clubs had to be postponed.
After a dull first-half, United broke the dead-lock just before the break when Wayne Rooney finished off a superb team attack featuring Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Juan Mata.
Rashford added the second midway through the second half before Ashley Young made sure of the points.
The only black mark against the home side was a late own-goal conceded by Chris Smalling.
United have one final match this season as they take on Crystal Palace in an FA Cup decider this weekend.
