White refused to confirm that McGregor will fight at UFC 202
Dana White maintains his relationship with Conor McGregor has not been damaged after the UFC president was forced to pull the Irishman from UFC 200 after McGregor failed to fulfil his media obligation.
Speaking today on The Dan Patrick Show, White said that he will meet with the SBG fighter next week and put last month's "speedbump" behind them, when the pair were at odds because McGregor would not travel from Iceland to Las Vegas to attend a press conference.
"Conor and I have been talking every day," said White. "We’re going to have dinner next week, our relationship is great and we’re going to put the little speedbump in the road that happened there behind us and move forward. Everything’s great."
McGregor looks likely to fight at UFC 202 in August this year against Diaz, before he returns to featherweight to face either Frankie Edgar or Jose Aldo in a title unification fight.
