Tony Kelly is the toast of the banner as his two injury time points completed an incredible comeback and hand Clare their first league title.

Waterford led from an early stage in Semple Stadium, with Patrick Curran netting after 17 seconds before Jake Dillion raised the green flag for the second time after 19 minutes.

The Deise managed to keep Clare at arms length for the majority of the game, with Waterford leading 2-09 to 0-12 at the interval.

Momentum shifted both ways early in the second half, with the Banner clawing themselves back into the game before Waterford opened up a six point lead, only for it to be halved soon after by a Tony Kelly goal.

The Clare comeback gathered steam and they trailed by just two going into injury time, before Darach Honan and Kelly points sealed the game in the most dramatic of fashions.
