The Belfast man was knocked down twice but still got the better of Anthony Nelson
Jamie Conlan survived being knocked down twice to claim the Commonwealth super-flyweight title against Anthony Nelson last night.
The brother of Michael Conlan, who is a World Champion and Olympic medalist himself, hit the canvas in the third and seventh round after a strong start, but found his second wind to land a body blow in the eighth that was enough to stop the fight.
The fight garnered plenty of online attention.
