Andrew Conway set up two tries and got on the scoresheet to help Munster move toward Champions Cup rugby
Andrew Conway produced a man of the match performance to help Munster step closer to Champions Cup rugby next season.
An inspired first half display saw the Irish province run in three tries, the second of which a free flowing move culminating in Simon Zebo collecting a kick on from Conway to cross in the corner.
Some of the pressure has been eased on Anthony Foley for the time being, his side's bonus point victory over Edinburgh sees them leapfrog the Scots and move within two points of a top four spot.
First half tries from Zebo, Conway and Rory Scannell gave Munster the platform they needed to kick on, but were kept within striking distance by Jason Tovey who crossed for the visitors as well as adding points from the boot.
Sam Hidalgo-Clyne drew the game back to a one-point deficit for the visitors heading into the final quarter of an hour but Francis Saili's late try secured Munster a well deserved victory.
