Laois and Limerick triumph in this evening's provincial minor championship action

Both sides ultimately won relatively comfortably

Laois have gotten the better of their hosts Carlow at Netwatch Dr Cullen Park in tonight's Leinster Minor Football Championship clash.

The visitors won out comfortably by 1-13 to 1-04 this evening.

Meanwhile, Limerick defeated Waterford in their Munster Minor Championship clash.

A second-half goal from Limerick's Diarmaid Kelly finally helped break the Waterford resistance as the visitors kicked-on to win by 1-13 to 1-05.
