Jurgen Klopp believes Liverpool have dealt with the Mamadou Sakho positive test situation in a way that they think is the right way.

The Reds and France defender won't be challenging the results of a failed drugs test.

It is believed a fat-burner is responsible, and he won't be picked by the club while the UEFA investigation is ongoing.

Team-mate Kolo Toure received a six month ban for a similar doping violation in 2011.

Manager Jurgen Klopp says there isn't much the club can do now.

"At this moment there is nothing to say," said Klopp.

"What we are all doing is collecting information to clear the situation as much as possible and then we have to wait until the next steps.

"We can’t force anything, we have to wait. What we have done so far is to do what we think is right. We will now have to wait."
