Bohs missed a few early opportunities before Rovers took the lead
Bohemians' Keith Long feels his side need to get better at finishing off their goalscoring opportunities after their derby loss to Shamrock Rovers tonight.
Keith Buckley and Ismahil Akinade spurned goalscoring opportunities for Bohs before Rovers took the lead just before half-time and raced clear for a 4-0 win.
"We need to be more clinical in those situations," Long admitted afterwards as he spoke to Newstalk Sport.
"You don't get too many chances in a derby. Keith's disappointed that he didn't finish in the position that he was in and Izzy obviously got a shot off but didn't test the keeper enough.
"We did have chances in the game. I thought we played reasonably well in the first half and to concede so late coming up to half-time and then so quickly in the second half really killed it off."
