The incident was sparked off after Irishman Kevin Toner got involved in a number of meaty challenges
Aston Villa's first team has been having a very bad time of it this season, so much so that the reserve team made headlines for beating them in a match in training.
This time it's the turn of the Under 21 side to get some coverage after their match against West Ham turned into a mass brawl.
The player at the centre of the incident, who also happens to be the captain, was Irishman Kevin Toner. After a series of heavy challenges, West Ham players got very irate and went straight in to let him know he'd crossed the line, and a mass brawl erupted as a result.
Many commentators online stated that the U21 team are at least showing more fight than the senior squad, but they might have gone about this the wrong way.
