A first round of 68, two shots behind the leader and the interviewer still does not know your name.

That was Shane Lowry's situation, when speaking to ESPN's Tom Rinaldi on Thursday night after a round that was seven shots better than his opening round last year. Lowry's 2015 visit to The Masters was his first time to play in the tournament where he missed the cut.

"McLowry" tees off on Friday afternoon at 3:54pm with Angel Cabrera and JB Holmes. With leader Jordan Spieth not teeing off until later in the evening, Lowry and joint-second placed Danny Lee have a chance to take an early lead..
