Ireland striker had to be stretchered off against Switzerland tonight and the image is of the look-away now variety
One of the lowlights from Ireland's 1-0 win over Switzerland tonight was the first half injury suffered by Kevin Doyle.
The Ireland striker had to be stretchered off in visible pain, after a collision with Swiss defender Timm Klose on 25 minutes.
After the match, the Colorado Rapids forward posted an extremely graphic image of the gash he suffered to his leg in the collision, also confirming that he is likely to be back "soon" after surgery.
The link to Doyle's tweet is right here, but the image attached is very graphic.
