"Connacht will go into the game full of confidence" - Gavin Duffy looks forward to the the interpro derby this weekend

Leinster travel to the Sportsground this weekend

Connacht host Leinster this weekend in the Pro12 knowing only a defeat will dislodge them from top spot.

Leinster failed to make up ground on their provincial counterparts as they were beaten 12-6 by Glasgow Warriors on Friday night.

Speaking on this week's Monday Rewind with Oisin Langan, former Connacht and Irish international Gavin Duffy says they won't have anything to fear.

"To be honest, we never feared intepro games," said Duffy, "The lads will relish the challenge especially with Leinster coming down to them.

"Connacht are playing consistently well and are playing some very good rugby. They look like a team who know how to win. They look like a team full of confidence and full of belief and it's certainly a change since I used to play.

"Connacht will have a more settled side I would imagine, whether or not some of the Irish side will settle back into the Leinster side remain to be seen.

"It's a fantastic end to the season and I think it's really good for the league and whether some of the guys get a spot on the plane for the Autumn series is unclear but I really don't think it will enter their heads."
