Borussia Dortmund have been charged by UEFA after 17 Tottenham fans were injured in a crush before last week's Europa League game in Germany.

Fans were hurt as they attempted to enter the stadium there, with a number of injuries caused by the usage of pepper spray by police.

Tottenham say that was "completely unnecessary and unacceptable", and that they are seeking an apology from police as well as "full disciplinary proceedings brought on Dortmund for what happened outside [the ground]".

The teams play again at White Hart Lane on Thursday in the return leg, and Dortmund hold a 3-0 lead from the first leg.
