Liverpool recorded one of their best home victories of Jurgen Klopp's reign on Wednesday night, but the German manager couldn't help but laugh at the loss of one of his former rivals.

Klopp battled with Bayern Munich on a regular basis when he was in charge of German giants Borussia Dortmund. In his spell with Der BVB, Dortmund were consistently the bridesmaids to Bayern on many occasions.

2013 was a tough year for Klopp as his side finished second to Bayern in the Bundesliga and Champions League. They were also knocked out by the Munich side in the quarter-finals of the German Cup.

Bayern Munich lost at home in the league for the first time this season on Wednesday night as Mainz won 2-1 in the Allianz Arena. Klopp was in charge of Mainz in the mid-2000s and marvelled in the result, despite Liverpool's performance against Manchester City.

Klopp's personality is quickly becoming one of the highlights of the Premier League season as a happy Klopp means post-match interviews will usually be worth watching. Boom!
