A penalty from James Milner was enough to book Liverpool's place in the last-16 of the Europa League.

After a goalless draw in the first leg in Germany last week, Augsburg visited Anfield today for the return leg.

But a goal was enough for Liverpool tonight to send them through.

And they didn't need to wait long for it as a handball decision in the box was awarded in their favour on five minutes and Milner converted the resulting penalty.

Daniel Sturridge also struck the post as the Reds kept hold of the 1-0 aggregate result.
