Jared Payne remains a doubt for Ireland's Six Nations trip to face England in Twickenham this Saturday.

The Irish management say they are hopeful that the Ulster centre will be able to train tomorrow as he continues to recover from the minor hamstring tear he suffered during the defeat to France in Paris.

Manager Mick Kearney described the situation as "wait and see".

However, Keith Earls has been cleared to return to action after a concussion injury, while Johnny Sexton and Simon Zebo will train with the squad today alongside Cian Healy and Mike Ross, who have both been recalled to the squad as Joe Schmidt makes five changes.
