Dubliner faces his compatriot Rafael Dos Anjos next month for the lightweight belt
As fate would have it, two Brazilians have stood in the way for Conor McGregor in UFC title fights.
One - Jose Aldo - stood for 13 seconds before ceding the featherweight belt last December in Las Vegas, while Rafael Dos Anjos still awaits on March 5th as McGregor aims to make history by adding the lightweight crown to his collection.
As MMA writer Guilherme Cruz told us before the Aldo fight, Brazilians are not overly fond of McGregor's verbal approach pre-match, with his trash-talking deemed "disrespectful".
