The Scottish striker only joined the French giants earlier this month
Steven Fletcher's loan move from Sunderland to Marseille was one of the more surprising stories of the January transfer window.
The Scottish striker had failed to set the world alight at the Stadium of Light before earning a move to the south of France to join the French giants until the end of the season.
Fletcher made his debut last weekend against PSG before starting his first game on Thursday night in the Coupe de France. Marseille defeated fourth-tier Trelissac 2-0 with Fletcher scoring the second goal for Michel's side.
Fletcher's move to France may generally be seen as unusual by many but if he continues to score at a rate of a goal every other game, the 28-year-old may be in France for longer than a few months.
