Lazar Markovic claims Brendan Rodgers "changed" in his final months in charge at Liverpool.

The Serbian winger who is currently on loan at Turkish side Fenerbahce says he and his former Reds boss previously had a strong bond.

Markovic made 31 appearances in all competitions last season and made his comments to Turkish outlet Fanatik

"I had no problem with Rodgers and we had a bond until, for some reason that remains a mystery to me, he changed. He stopped playing me and then at the start of the season he didn't even include me in the squad. And nobody explained to me what was going on or what his plans were, so I decided to leave," he said.
