Ulster assistant coach Neil Doak has confirmed that Jared Payne and Stuart Olding are still several weeks away from a return to action.

The pair will not be available for this Sunday's re-arranged European Champions Cup game against Oyonnax in France.

Olding has not played this season after suffering a cruciate ligament injury last March while Payne has been sidelined since fracturing his foot during Ireland's World Cup campaign.

However, the province are set to be boosted by the return of fit-again Darren Cave and Craig Gilroy this weekend.
