UEFA president is currently banned from football for eight years
FIFA's disciplinary commission says it is "monitoring the situation" after banned UEFA president Michel Platini was pictured attending a football awards ceremony.
The Frenchman is currently suspended from all activity within the sport, over a seven-figure payment received from FIFA equivalent Sepp Blatter.
Platini, who is appealing the ruling, was spotted at the Globe Soccer Awards, held by the Dubai Sports Council.
However, although FIFA say they will keep an eye on the situation, they will not intervene for now.
