The 20-year-old has signed from Shelbourne
Irish international Katie McCabe has joined Arsenal from Shelbourne.
The six-times Ireland international leaves the Women's National League having helped Raheny United win the League and Cup double in 2014. She was part of the side that rebranded as Shelbourne that reached this year's FAI Cup Final that lost to Wexford Youths.
McCabe made her debut for Ireland this year and was part of the Ireland Under 19 team that played in the European Championships last year.
She joins an Arsenal team that already includes Ireland captain Emma Byrne. The Gunners finished third in this year's Women's Super League
Arsenal manager Pedro Martinez Losa spoke about adding McCabe to the team: “We are delighted to welcome Katie to the club. She is a fantastic young talent, who is full of potential, and I look forward to her continued progress with us in the season ahead.”
