Sturridge injured his hamstring against Newcastle and will now miss his third consecutive game
Daniel Sturridge's injury nightmare continues as reports on Wednesday suggest the striker is set to miss Liverpool's trip to Watford at the weekend.
Jurgen Klopp seemed optimistic about Sturridge's chances last week when he said, "Now we have 10 days, I would say, until we think about if he should play. That would be the Watford game maybe."
Sturridge, having just returned from injury, missed the last two Liverpool games against Sion in the Europa League and West Brom in the Premier League. The forward picked up the injury after coming on as a substitute during his side's 2-0 loss to Newcastle at St. James' Park.
The forward has made just one start since Jurgen Klopp's early October appointment as the injuries continue to pile up.
Liverpool boss Klopp will now keep his eye on Sturridge and to Leicester's trip to Anfield next week as a possible return date.
