WATCH: Snooker player misses out on a 147 break after missing the final black

Thepchaiya Un-Nooh was the unlucky player last night

It is a shot that Thepchaiya Un-Nooh will not forget in a hurry.

The Thai player was up against former World Champion Neil Robertson at the UK Championship in York when he looked on course to guarantee himself a share of £44,000 for scoring a maximum break.

After safely potting 15 reds and 15 blacks, followed by the first five colours, the World number 36 somehow missed the final ball. To add insult to injury, there have already been four higher breaks than 140 in the tournament meaning all the Thai's hard work only won him the frame.

Robertson won the match 6-2.
