Former Dutch international footballer Frank de Boer has been named as the new Crystal Palace manager.

He previously had spells at Ajax and Inter Milan and has signed a three-year deal.

De Boer replaces Sam Allardyce after the former England manager quit Selhurst Park after saving them from Premier League relegation in a five-month stint.

The former Barcelona and Rangers player has four Dutch titles to his name as a head coach.

Palace finished in 14th place on 41 points in 2017.
