Tottenham Hotspur foward Heung-Min Son is to undergo surgery on a fractured arm ahead of the new season.

The South Korean sustained the injury on international duty in a World Cup qualifying match against Qatar in Doha on Tuesday.

After undergoing post-match assessments, a scan revealed he had fractured his arm.

His club will now monitor his recovery ahead of the new season.

Son enjoyed a stellar campaign for the Londoners last season scoring 21 goals in all competitions as Tottenham produced their best ever Premier League campaign.
